Resumen:
In the world there are high levels of pollution and dependence on the availability and prices of fossil fuels. Therefore, it is necessary to research and develop alternative sources of energy, especially renewable energies. Photovoltaic solar systems represent one of the most used renewable energy sources nowadays. It is increasingly common to use it combined with other sources and energy storage systems to form micro-grids. In this work, a micro-grid composed by several sources such as photovoltaic solar energy, wind energy, and energy storage units was modelled. Afterwards, optimization strategies were proposed which allowed determining the optimal number of units for each energy source and storage needed, and their optimal nominal power value. The viability of the proposed methodology was proved by the results obtained.
