Resumen:
It is widely accepted in the literature that gas-rich galaxy mergers will produce a new population of young globular clusters. At the same time, galaxies located in dense environments can also accrete compact satellite galaxies, which may have been captured and stripped of part of their structure or in small fusion events. In a series of previous works, we confirmed the existence of a complex globular cluster system formed in a gas-rich merger event in the local Universe, which is dominated by an unusually young and metal-rich subpopulation. In addition to these young clusters, we have detected a group of objects in our sample with characteristics similar to those obtained for some ultra-compact dwarf galaxies (UCD). Although the definition of these objects would involve both massive GC and nuclei of tidally stripped dwarf galaxies, in some cases, differentiating between them is not trivial. For this, other characteristics must be analyzed in order to identify one or the other case.In this work, we analyze the most relevant physical properties of a sample of stellar clusters with signs of recent stellar formation, aiming to classify them as genuine young GCs, massive GCs, or nuclei of dwarf galaxies.
