CONSIDERATIONS ON THE PRESENCE OF Mg-Al AND Mg-Ni CHLORITES IN THE 28 AND 38 M-DEEP OF THE MASSIVE SULFIDE DEPOSIT OF LA COLORADA MINE (SALTA, ARGENTINA)

This contribution aims to communicate the presence of two species of chlorites, recognized from X-ray Diffraction (XRD) studies, found at 28 and 38 m.u.w. and to indicate the implications of their appearance. For identification purposes, selected mineral fragments were pulverized in an agate mortar and pestle, until a smooth paste without granularity when rubbed between fingertips was obtained.
