Resumen:
? Atmosphere is a dominant source of error whileworking with the phase of Synthetic Aperture Radar images. Itcan be observed as an additional phase pattern in affectedinterferograms. In this work we analyzed the influence of theatmosphere masked out the deformation pattern over an areanear to San Juan city, Argentina. Different correctionapproaches are explained and implemented for compensatingsuch atmospheric pattern. In particular, we employed twomethods, one based on the interferometric phase itself and asecond one based on external atmospheric models. We processeda set of 85 Sentinel-1 SAR acquisitions, covering a time-span of 4years from 2014. We demonstrate that using Zenith Total Delay(ZTD) information derived from global atmospheric modelsand/or GNSS stations can significantly reduce atmosphericeffects.
