Viral vectors are a relatively new vaccine platform that relies onrecombinant viruses to deliver selected immunogens into the host.Among them, Autographa californica multiple nuclear polyhedrosisbaculovirus (BV), categorized as a nonhuman viral vector with versatilefeatures, has been positioned as an excellent vaccine vector.The final goal of the project is to combine flagellin (FliC), a TLR-5ligand, with BV, in a single structure aiming to generate a synergisticimmune response. To try out this hypothesis, in this study we combineFliC and BV as a vaccine formulation and analysed both in vitroand in vivo immune responses.
