Sperm DNA fragmentation and its association with routine semen parameters

Routine male reproductive workup involves basic semen analysis, although with limited value. Considering the relevance of the sperm nuclear integrity in sperm fertilizing potential, Sperm DNA Fragmentation (SDF) analysis has been included in the 6th WHO Manual (2021). Herein, we aim to assess the association between routine semen parameters and SDF.
