Resumen:
Combinatorial peptide libraries or protein variants have been expressed through capsid proteins of M13 bacteriophage to selection of binders to glicoprotein GP120 with is the superficial protein of HIV virus. An amount of 1% agarose gel was functionalized with GP120 IIB through a heterocrosslinker to electrophorese pahges as they have native negative charges. In fact, phages were swept laterally and vertically through two orthogonal elctric fields. Phages were collected in nine different microchannels reservoirs according to their affinity. Lateral displacement was verified by utilizing VSC M13. Besides, a mixture of M13 wt/S20 fab was electrophoresed and phage-fabs were recovered at outlets 1-4.
