Resumen:
A paleothermal analysis of the Ischigualasto extensional basin (Triassic halfgraben in La Rioja, Argentina) wascarried out in order to establish its history of subsidence and exhumation, and the relative influence of the heatingprocesses that took place therein. This allows estimating the moment in which the potentially source rock intervalswould have reached the hydrocarbon generation window. To determine the maximum temperatures reachedduring burial, organic and inorganic indicators were used (%Ro, DRX in the clay fraction and U/Pb fission tracksin apatites). Also, thermochronology was carried out in order to elucidate the trajectory of exhumation. Thesoftwares used for thermal modelling were Petromod and Hefty.
