Biogas is an attractivefeedstock with financial and environmental benefits [1]. This wet mixture of CH4and CO2 can be used not only as energy source, but also to syngasproduction through different technologies, e.g., steam, dry, combined methanereforming or, partial oxidation of CH4 [2]. In spite of thetraditional issues of the reforming reaction were overcome (endothermicity ofthe reaction and coke formation), the inevitable impurities of the biogas suchas sulphur compounds hinders this application. These components, even in a verylow concentration, may conduct to a serious deactivation of the catalyst [3]. Hence,trend towards the study and development of sulphur-resistant catalytictechnologies for the conversion of raw biogas by mixed reforming without anyadjustment of composition, hereafter called self-reforming.
