Resumen:
We focused in the purpose of non invasive tumordetection; in this way, the design of systems enabling the emissionof specific wavelength and certain intensity has revolutionized thediagnostic techniques. Light-induced autofluorescence spectroscopy isa very attractive tool for early diagnosis of cancer due to its highsensitivity, easy-to-use methodology for measurements, possibilitiesfor real time measurements. We based on the fluorescence measurementsmethod to provide useful information for monitoring the abundance andlocation of the fluorophores in low-pigmented superficial neoplasia.The results of our work describe the modeling of a LED light source,its construction and a selected application. The fluorescence spectrafrom tumors and normal surrounding tissue regions in a case report ofa non-melanoma skin cancer patient, illuminated by the developedUV/violet LED lamp was registered employing a portable spectrometerand an optical fiber probe. Fluorescence spectra were recorded pre-and pos-treatment with a clinical laser source. Furthermore,suspicious points exhibit a peak in the 600 - 700 nm region with ahigher intensity than that observed for healthy skin or treatedregions. After subtracting the reference curve obtained from thedecaying tail of the peak at 505 nm a rather clear peak in the 600 –700 nm range related to an increased amount of PpIX in pathologicalregions can be distinguished. The conclusion of this study is usefulfor improving the detection of superficial neoplastic pathologies.p { margin-bottom: 0.25cm; direction: ltr; color: #00000a; line-height: 120%; text-align: left; orphans: 2; widows: 2 }p.western { font-family: "Calibri", serif; font-size: 11pt; so-language: es-AR }p.cjk { font-family: "Calibri"; font-size: 11pt; so-language: en-US }p.ctl { font-family: ; font-size: 11pt; so-language: ar-SA }
