Antiretroviral drugs are widely known that produce oxidative stress on patients treated for HIV infection. We evaluated the effects of Darunavir (DRV, 0,055mM), Tenofovir Alafenamide (TAF, 7,14mM) and Dolutegravir (DTG, 0,072mM) on THP-1 cells. Cell viability, interleukin-8 (IL-8) production and possible activation of these monocytes by nitrites secretion (N) were measured. After 48h treatment, we observed no effect with DRV.
