Resumen:
In this paper the development and design of a serious game for rehabilitation purposes are presented. This game is designed for people who have suffered stroke, in order to carrying out the rehabilitation in a more integral way. The game is developed by using Unity 3D and the movement of the user is detected by Kinect® sensor. The objective of the game consists in that the user has to catch spheres of a predetermined colour. The score achieved by user is recorded and given to the physiotherapist for the evaluation of the patient´s rehabilitation process. In addition, other parameters such as the velocity, frequency, etc., can be recorded in order to assist the physiotherapist in analyzing the evolution in the rehabilitation. The game is tested with post-stroke patients and the first evaluation was positive because the patients had carried out the rehabilitation with much more motivation.
