Resumen:
Samborombon Bay is influenced by the interaction among the dynamics of the La Plata River and to the Atlantic Ocean; winds and tides complete the abiotics factors. The biological action also conditions characteristics of the sediment according to reworking and bioturbation. This work consisted, using supervised satellital images, classifications of LANDSAT 5 and the software lDRISI 4, of the recognition of six sectors: 1.Waters with abundant sediments,2.Tidal flats3.Low marsh,4.High marsh,5.Pampean plain, 6.Free sediment waters, thereafter studied in the field with topographic profiles, georeferenriarion, vegetation and sediments sampling, lied in the following geornorphologic and sedimentologic environments:a) Subtidal.b) Tidal flats,c) Supratidal marshes,d) Pampean plain. We concluded that this processing is valid to separate fitogeographically areas in sectors that represent sedimentological and geomorphological environments, and to obtain quantitative data analysis.
