A new science for the Anthropocene? Towards Post-Normal Scientific Practices

This presentation includes the results of two post-normal scientific experiences in Argentina: 1) A collaborative mapping of interaction networks around meteorological and climatic information and 2) the project "Suture the Earth in the Anthropocene´´, that intertwines science, art, education and territory to reflect on the impact of human activities on the planet. Through these experiences, we are interested in discussing on some axes that arise from "listening" to the people and interact with the territories: the local perspective; the acknowledgement of place-based knowledge and experiences to solve specific problems; the urgency to discuss values as well as truths and; above all, the complexity of thinking about the interdependence between society and climate.
