Resumen:
Nowadays the design and management of supply chains (SCs) as well as theadoption of sustainable practices are well accepted. The development ofsustainable SCs (SSCs) requires the explicit consideration of the total lifecycle of products into current SC models to take into account environmentaland societal considerations. In general, the product life cycle can be classifiedinto the following stages: pre-manufacturing, manufacturing, use, and postuse.Effective and comprehensive approaches to SSC must consider all thesestages.
