Resumen:
Fed-batch fermenters have gained particular attention due to its wide range of high valuedproducts production possibilities. Nowadays, the optimization and control of these systems is animportant task given its significant economic impact and particular characteristics. The paper proposes alinear algebra based controller for nonlinear and multivariable bioprocesses. It involves finding thecontrol actions to make the system follow predefined optimal concentration profiles. The controllerparameters are selected with a Monte Carlo experiment. Finally, the good performance of the controller isproved under normal conditions and adding perturbations in the control action.
