The objectives of this work are to: a) Investigate the drying process; b) Develop a Prototype Productive as a ?portable? demonstrative model to improve the drying processes; c) experiment and evaluate the system; d) disseminate and training on solar drying; e) build and develop instances and instruments for these actions; f) incorporate simple constructive and solar drying techniques and procedures. The methodology is the Participatory Research - Action. The results are to: a) structuring and definition of the theoretical and methodological frames; b) definition of the geography area; c) research about solar drying and a technological system for it; d) experimentation of the prototype; e) transfer of the process and the products; f) scope of the work.
