Resumen:
The process of cooking and the necessary facilities for carrying out this process is one of the most important sources of domestic energy consumption. The devices use solar energy for this purpose and reduce substantially the conventional energies consumption, so it is necessary to promote its use. Because the manufacture of these devices solar cooking is extremely economical, research focused on analyzing physical principles that make the process possible solar cooking, the types of possible technological systems, their advantages and disadvantages, the selection of a concentration system of low-cost portable and geometric simplicity, local availability of materials required for execution, the basics of its operation, a simple and affordable construction process, their realization, experimentation, demonstration, diffusion and transfer for adoption. Thus, the objectives of this study were: - Develop an economic and ecological system for cooking. - Demonstrate the feasibility and practicality of cooking with solar energy. - Educate and train people in the manufacture and use of devices to capture solar energy home. - Promote the use of solar devices for cooking. The work is registered under: 1. The Participatory Action Research as a social practice that seeks knowledge production and social transformation that occurs in the action itself and contributes to it, 2. The Development, Dissemination and Training of Unconventional Technologies. 3. The Use of Solar Energy. The geographical area in which it was held up to the towns of the province of Tucuman in Argentina: San Miguel de Tucuman, El Corte and Villa de Medinas.
