Resumen:
Based upon John Law's concept of "heterogeneous engineering", the authors set out to explore the engineering work in the field of Micro and Nano Technologies (MNT) visiting a variety of places where technology and society are shaped: international committees where roadmaps are defined, research labs where new devices are designed, platforms where technological exploration and transfer are performed, big collaborative research programs where researchers and companies shape sociotechnical infrastructures, and places where societal inscription of the novelties is regulated.
