Resumen:
We may discern four main periods or stages in the development of phenomenological thinking in Argentina. The first one is marked by the reception, above all, of Husserl, Heidegger, and Scheler, thus laying the foundations for all later development. The second involves influential philosophers of the next generation in various fields including phenomenology. A third one has been decisive for the specific spreading out of phenomenology and the rigorous academic education of the younger generations who comprise the fourth stage.
