Resumen:
The Community Well-Being Index (CWI) is a multi-item, self-reported measure of satisfaction with the local place of residence taking into account the attachment to it, the social and physical environment, and the available services and facilities. The CWI was developed following the structure of the Personal Well-Being Index and the National Well-Being Index, part of the InternationalWell-Being Index (Cummins et al. 2003; International Well-Being Group 2006; Lau et al. 2005). It represents an intermediate level between these two indices.
