approach to the determinations of value in the light of the recently published English translation of his previously unknown works. Taking cue from Vasina and Rokityansky´s (2018) and Takenaga´s (2017) invaluable biographical and philological research, I shall re-examine Rubin´s stance on the connection between production, exchange and value by placing the third edition of Essays on Value in the broader context of some of the other writings that have come to light in the past few years. In the first place, I shall very briefly examine the 1924 second edition of Essays on Value. This will be done primarily to set the intellectual frame and terms for the main discussion that follows, which focuses on Rubin´s perspective on production, exchange, and the determination of value in the Essays on Money.
