Resumen:
In this paper, we discuss Maimon´s doctrine of the applicability of pure concepts to empirical objects and its implications regarding the possibility of empirical knowledge. For this purpose, we shall firstly analyze Maimon´s criticism to the Kantian position (1.). Secondly, we shall reconstruct the theory of differentials as Maimon´s reaction to the difficulties that he finds in Kant´s doctrine (2.). Finally, we shall consider the peculiar combination of dogmatism and skepticism that the theory of differentials implies (3.).
