Resumen:
Microphthalmia and anophthalmia is a disease that affects the normal development of theeyeballs in animals that suffer from it. Generating total or partial loss of them, rarely observedin fish from natural systems. In this work, the pathology is documented for the first time innative fish of the Diplomystes cuyanus species captured in a mountain river in the provinceof San Juan, in the arid west of Argentina.
