Resumen:
Diverse techniques of restoration in dry lands are discussed, these allow to recover the floristiccomposition and the vegetation structure in degraded areas. Each considered aspect is supportedby experiences with proven results. The importance of prevention and environmental evaluation ishighlighted as a way to mitigate the negative impacts. In addition, the use of native species properlyselected in the same phyt1ogeographic entity ensures the restoration.
