Resumen:
Refractive index of binary and ternary liquid mixtures of propyl pro-panoate,  heptane  and  octane  at  (283.15,  288.15,  293.15,  298.15,303.15, 308.15, 313.15, 318.15 and 323.15) K have been measured atatmospheric pressure over the entire composition range. Using theseexperimental  data  the  deviation  in  the  refractive  index  have  beencalculated. Deviation in refractive indices data have been correlatedusing the Redlich?Kister equation for binary systems and with Cibulkaequations  for  ternary  ones.  The  obtained  results  were  discussed  interms of the nature of intermolecular interactions and structural fac-tors in these binary and ternary mixtures.
