Resumen:
In this article we explore some of the simultaneous processes that lead to the political transformation of the feminist and women?s movement in Argentina. We situate our focus in the tension between the strong forms of grassroots political organization of feminist and women?s movements, their relative marginality in the larger political field until recently, and the massive emergence in 2015 with Ni Una Menos. We identify femicide as a key point of convergence that brought about not only cross-sectional alliances but also a massive engagement of the whole social fabric.
