Resumen:
In order to evaluate if the interventions in gratitudeand optimism help to improve social relationships in children, an experimentalstudy was designed over a total of fifty 9 year-old children, in a privateschool of Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina. The experimental groupwas exposed to interventions based on gratitude and optimism, while the controlgroup was exposed to a neutral intervention. Sociometric, measures were used toevaluate the whole experience. After the interventions were performed, negativesocial relationships within the experimental group significantly decreased (by44.69%), while no changes were observed in the control group. This experience, study proves the positive impact of this type of interventions over the socialrelationships of children in a school environment.
