Resumen:
Stephacharopa paposensis n.sp. is described from shells collected in coastal areas of paposo, región deantofagasta, northern chile, associated with native bromeliads and cacti living among rocks and coarse sand. this is thesecond species of stephacharopa found in northern chile and one of the northernmost species of charopidae found in thiscountry.
