Resumen:
A study of Sr1−xBaxHfO3 perovskites with composition x = 0, 0.12, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75,
0.88 and 1 using XR-diffraction analysis has been performed. The crystalline structures
as well as the lattice constants have been determined at room temperature. The electron
distribution in the unit cell of ABO3 determines the bonds between A and B cations with
oxygen. Comparing cationoxygen distances with the corresponding sum of the cation
plus the anion radii it is possible to infer the character of the bonds and to interpret
their behavior with composition.3 determines the bonds between A and B cations with
oxygen. Comparing cationoxygen distances with the corresponding sum of the cation
