The Precordilleran conodonts are mainly related to a calm and warm-water ocean. In Cambrian only the Proconodontus Zone has been found; at this time a Transgressive Event is developed. In Ordovician some conodonts have been found, while 4 transgressive events, 3 falling events and 2 anoxic events can be recognized.
