Resumen:
The Zlíchovian/ Dalejanboundary interval (Emsian, Lower Devonian) of the Pekárek Mill section wasstudied employing biostratigraphy (dacryoconarid tentaculites, conodonts, chitinozoans), palynology (chitinozoans, prasinophytes, scolecodonts), andmicrofacies analysis in order to shed more light on the timing andcharacteristics of the Daleje Event. The results of our study stress the greatimportance of the base of the N. elegansZone for the Emsian sub-stage division. Onset of the Daleje transgression is linkedwith higher terrigenous input and coinciding changes in the chitinozoanassemblages were recorded at this level. The transgression at the base of the N. elegans Zone preceded the maintransgression taking place in the N.cancellata Zone; it can be correlated with the ?Upper Zlíchov Event?. Forthe first time, Emsian chitinozoans and a jawed polychaete fauna are describedin detail from the Prague Basin, and can be correlated with other northern Gondwananregions. The family composition of scolecodonts confirms the dominance ofpaulinitids in the peri-Gondwanan realm.
