Double Beta Decay Rates with Variable Fundamental Constants

Resumen:
We investigate the effect of the variations of fundamental constans upon double beta decay rates. The variations are taken form cosmological models and tested against current limits for double beta decay rates. It is found that, by assuming the variations of the fundamental constants with time, one may obtain large corrections in the calculated values of the double beta decay rates. This effect is notorious for the case of a power-law time dependence of the fune structure constnas and of the Fermi constant.
