Resumen:
During the 2014 Argentine AntarcticSurvey, we identified some sterile specimens as?C. subscutata? and these were used for molecularphylogenetic studies. The results confirmedthat the species belongs to Nephromopsisand is conspecific with N. chlorophylla (Willd.)Divakar et al. However, the specimens fromAntarctica show some differences with collectionsfrom other regions, which are discussedbelow.
