Resumen:
Selecting stable period of data taking is an important part of the data selection procedure which should give us reliable data sets for our physics analysis. In this brief note, we present a simple, but very robust, method which allows to reject periods where the acquisition of the surface detector was unstable or stopped. This rejection is based on the statistical properties of the time distribution of the events and can be implemented in Auger due to our large detector surface and large quantity of recorded physics events per day (about one hundred early 2004 and over 800 today (June 2006)).
