Resumen:
We present our first results on the influence of the geomagnetic field on the shower development and reconstruction, obtained by Monte Carlo simulation. In particular, we analyze the shift in the energy determination due to the influence of the field on the shower LDF. We find an energy modulation of about 2% .The geomagneticfield will therefore add a pseudo dipole to the distribution of cosmic rays on the sky.This is important for 2d large scale anisotropy search. We also show that the shift in the reconstructed shower core position due to the magnetic field is within the error bars of the reconstruction and examine ground particle muon maps to lay the basis for the verification of the effect in the real data.
