Resumen:
During the development of any organism, occurs a series of events in a precise spatial and temporal context. Typically, certain ontogenetic processes are consistent with the proper completion of previous events. Metodology: We analyzed the ontogeny of three species of birds with two different development models: Columba livia (semialtricial 2), Coturnix coturnix and Gallus gallus domesticus (precocial 2). Will compare the start and end of thirteen morphogenetic events, from 16 h of incubation to the time of hatching. Results: While no differences in the sequence of developmental events the events of pre maturation stage in the altricial kind started earlier than in early species. Among these species differences were evident in the post ripening stage. Ontogenetic acceleration events in C. livia and C. coturnix explain how these species reach a level of development morphological similar G. gallus domesticus a shorter incubation period. Conclusions: The results provide information about events heterochronic in early developmental stages of poultry, not considered in the literature of the specialty.
