Resumen:
Polypyrrole (PPy) films containing heparin (Hep), salicylate (Sa) or both anions wereelectrochemically deposited as single layers or bilayers onto Nitinol (NiTi) alloy. The PPydeposition onto the bare alloy was achieved through an anodic electropolymerization in thepresence of the anions. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of theelectrosynthesis parameters (electrolyte nature and monomer and electrolyte concentrations)on the electroforming mechanism and morphology of the PPy. The PPy coating containingHep and Sa not only presents a very good anticoagulant activity but also presents excellentanticorrosive properties in Ringer´s solution.
