Resumen:
A population of the amphipod Ampithoe valida inhabiting intertidal pools dominated by the chlorophyte Ulva rigida C.Ag. was studied monthly at Quequén, Argentina. Large changes in abundance were observed, with maximum values during the summer and a minimum during the winter.
