Resumen:
We present the synthesis of three Mg(II) complexes potentially useful for magnesium supplementation in human and veterinary medicine: magnesium chloro-aspartate, Mg(C4H6O4N)Cl.3H2O; magnesium citrate, [Mg(H2O)6][MgC6H5O7(H2O)]2.5H2O, and magnesium orotate, [Mg(C5H3O4N2)2].8H2O. these compounds were characterized by IR and Raman spectroscopy and their thermal behaviour was investigated by means of thermogravimetric measurement and differential thermal analysis, working in oxygen atmosphere.
