Resumen:
The increase in antibiotic-resistant bacteria is a factual threat to human and animal health. In the absence of development ofnew antimicrobial drugs, antibiotic resistance has become a major Public and Health concern worldwide. Bacterial resistanceto antibiotics in human health has a strong correlation with animal health. In this context, it would seem that the spread ofresistant bacteria is addressed in one direction: animal-man-man, causing bacterial diseases with complex therapeutic resolution(zoonosis). However, men and animals live in one environment contaminated by multiresistant bacteria. Therefore, since eitheranimal livestock as hospital patients undergoing high pharmacological pressure with antibiotics live in the same enviroment,it is postulated that bacterial resistance should be addressed in a bidirectional way as: animals -men- animal, triggering animaldiseases named reverse zoonosis or anthropozoonosis. In this article, the concern of bacterial resistance is comprised in anintegrated way in the context of the guidelines proposed by the Tripartite Alliance between WHO, FAO and OIE.
