Resumen:
This paper presents an assistant to populateInstitutional Repositories. This tool can detect all educationaldigital objects in text format that are already published oninstitutional websites and can be uploaded to a repository. Thisrecopilation is a tedious task and is usually performedmanually. In this paper we propose a system architecture forautomating this task of collecting text documents within arestricted domain in order to detect plausible documents thatcan be loaded into a repository. Also, its metadata such aslanguage, category, title, authors and their contact data areautomatically extracted. A prototype of this system wasdeveloped and case studies in two different domains areanalyzed.
