Resumen:
The insulator to metal transition in manganites can be drastically influenced by internal factors, such as chemical composition, or under a variety of external perturbations, like magnetic or electric fields. In this work, the electrical resistance of La0.5Ca0.5MnO3 thin films was investigated using different constant voltages. At low temperature the conductivity of the films is non-Ohmic and moderate electric fields results in resistivity switching to metastable states. Comparisons between the influence of magnetic and electric fields on transport measurements are reported.0.5Ca0.5MnO3 thin films was investigated using different constant voltages.
