Título:
Loss of interplane correlation in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 single crystals

Resumen:
By means of dc magnetization and ac response of {Bi$_2$Sr$_2$CaCu$_2$O$_{8-\delta}$} single crystals it is shown that the dc irreversibility line the vortex system has no long-rangeorder in the $c$ direction. We find an energy dissipation peak at 7 Hz forinterplane current that takes place at a temperature well bellow theirreversibility line. In this sense, the irreversibility line marks thetemperature where quasi-two dimensional vortices are depinned. Theexperimental data clearly show the different nature of two dissipation peaksin the susceptibility: one related to the interplane currents and the otherassociated with the intraplane ones.
