Resumen:
This paper presents the first palynological record from the Itararé Subgroup, Paraná Basin, in Jundiaí, São Paulo State. The assemblages are rich in monosaccate pollen grains, whereas spores and bisaccate pollen grains are less common. In this preliminary study, four species of spores, twenty of pollen grains and one of Acritarcha are presented. According to the palynological data, the age is considered late Late Carboniferous. Paleoenvironments considerations are also presented.
