Resumen:
ABSTRACT.- We report the occurrence of six specimens of white mullet Mugil curema Valenciennes, 1836 at Mar Chiquita coastal lagoon, Argentina (37º32?S-57º19?W). This is the southernmost record for the species in the western Atlantic and the first record from Argentinean waters. Morphometric and meristic characters of the six specimens, and a photograph are included
