ESTIMACIÓN DE LA EVAPOTRANSPIRACIÓN DE REFERENCIA CON EL MÉTODO DE PENMAN-MONTEITH EN BALCARCE

The objective was compare and calibrate the Penman-Monteith method with the evapotranspiration of an irrigated festuca crop as reference, to verify its aptitude at Balcarce. The festuca evapotranspiration was determined from soil water depletion in 5 - 10 days intervals, obtained with the neutron scattering method.  The measurement were realized from November to April of 1991-92, 1992-93, 1993-94. Statistics suggested by Willmott (1982) were calculated to evaluate the performance, with a good behavior for Balcarce conditions, including some advantages compared with Penman (1948).
