Resumen:
The time-difterential perturbed-angular-correlation technique has been applied to study Cu20and CuO compounds using "´In probes. The hyperfine interaction of 111Cd substitutionally replacing copper has been characterized in both oxides. The temperature dependence of the electric field gradient (EFG) has been studied in the region 17-1170K for Cu20 and 17-770 K for CuO. In both cases this temperature dependence is well described by considering thermal vibrations at the copper site of the lattice. For both compounds, the correlation between the EFG and the electric conductivity is discussed. %´e analyze the existence of fluctuating interactions originating in the electronic relaxation of the probe in both oxides.
