We perform a cross-correlation analysis of galaxy counts on Lick maps and rich clusters of galaxies with measured temperatures T and velocity dispersions sigma. We find that galaxy density excesses up to ~20 Mpc from cluster centres are increasing linear functions on sigma and T with a statistically significant detection (
