Energy Dependence of X-Ray Capillary Performance

Resumen:
Capillary parameters such as transmission e?ciency and intensity gain are calculated for di€erent energies. These parameters are obtained by using a mathematical model that calculates photon transport along these devices. The model assumes the usage of a monochromatic radiation source with characteristics similar to those of synchrotron radiation. The mean divergence after the capillary exit and the active volume irradiated are calculated as a function of the energy of the incident photons.
